BTM Productions, Inc. is sad to announce the cancellation of Beyond the Mountain Festival. The event was scheduled to take place on November 5th, 2005, at the Arcada Theater in downtown St. Charles, IL. No re-scheduling is planned at this time.

BTM Productions, Inc. is sad to announce the cancellation of Beyond the Mountain Festival. The event was scheduled to take place on November 5th, 2005, at the Arcada Theater in downtown St. Charles, IL. No re-scheduling is planned at this time.
After the California dates were cancelled, I was approached by an investor in the Chicagoland area that pledged to help the festival financially, which in fact never materialized. That dealt a devastating blow to us. The escalating expenses, the last-minute cancellations by key bands, and the backing-out of that investor made the festival completely unviable”.
We were getting hit from every side. Barren Cross, Sacred Warrior, and Deliverance cancelled due to injuries and family obligations; our investor decided not to honor his financial commitment to the festival… I was facing the possibility of having to rely on ticket sales for the show to continue, and that was frankly too much risk to undertake. I am truly devastated for having to cancel it.
In closing, I want to thank every band that was scheduled to play and let everyone know that they were in no way responsible for the cancellation of the show. Also, to all of those who supported us in trying to make the event a reality, my sincere apologies go out to you. It saddens me that it has to come down to this”.

Neon Cross will be playing a gig at the Hilton Hotel on Friday and gig in Bellflower on Saturday.

The guys from HOLY SOLDIER have a meeting schedule this month around the 27th to talk about future plans.

 

Terry Russell is playing drums for NEON CROSS and is recording with them on upcoming CD right now. Terry is also playing shows with NEON CROSS and will be with them this summer doing gigs. Terry also has his solo project that Don Webster-Lead Guitar of NC recorded for him and will be mastering it very soon.

I, Daryn Hinton, have an official statement and announcement regarding the Mexico City RevolutionFest Concert.
Although I witnessed a wonderful concert November 20th, put on by caring men and women of faith and wonderful performers, I also witnessed an international disaster that has the potential to destroy the lives of so many amazing, loving Christian people. I have happily been out of the music industry for about 14 years, but due to the event that happened, I have found the need to resurrect my company, DHM (Daryn Hinton Management), and call on the people God used me to work through in the past. I have asked the band Holy Soldier to come out of their long time retirement to do a benefit concert for the people, promoters and families effected by the devastating chain of events that are happening due to Stryper's cancellation in the Mexico City RevolutionFest concert. To be quite honest, I do not know how, when or where it will take place. The band has not played together in seemingly forever and are scattered around the USA. It wiIl be all of the original members from their debut album. Although God used me in the past to finance His kingdom business, I have no financial resources at this time. But God is an awesome God and can make a way where there is no way. I know the men of God in Holy Soldier and their hearts are eager, as mine is, to help the people of Mexico, a country we love and adore. For those of you who are to young to remember Holy Soldier, they were the first Christian metal band to get signed to a major secular label, A&M records, and the first Christian metal band to get signed to a major Christian label, Word/Myrrh records. They are directly connected to the economy of Stryper and might not have existed without Stryper. After I financed Stryper (in the beginning) and I left Stryper, I went on to manage Holy Soldier and prepare them for their debut album. The finances I received due to my contractual agreement with Stryper were all reinvested in Holy Soldier. Through Stryper, Holy Soldier and Charizma from Sweden, God has allowed me to plant so many seeds in this generation and I believe that this generation will be the most powerful for God that the world has ever known. We are going to be a generation that calls the impossible 'the unusual' and that will breed the miraculous. I believe in this generation and the tremendous wave of the spirit that is about to happen. We all need to be ready and wax up our spiritual surfboards in anticipation. God has called us ALL to go out to the nations and proclaim His Glory as ambassadors for His kingdom. Holy Soldier & I want to be Ambassadors for God who are proud to serve Him and Ambassadors for our beloved country America that was founded on the principals and the spirit of God.

I got the vision for the benefit concert after being invited by a friend, Elsa, to accompany her to Los Pinos, the Mexican Whitehouse. I thought to myself what if I meet President Fox whom I admire so greatly. What would I be able to tell him I have done to help his country? Revolutionfest came to mind and I was instantly in tears and ashamed. We have been called to be peacemakers among the trouble makers, Matthew 5:9. I love the men of Stryper and their families with all of my heart and so do the men of Holy Soldier. We respect their anointing and in no way are coming against them. We see a need and we want to extend a helping hand to God's people. In performance, it is all about the audience. As my awesome Pastor Gary Zamora of Time in Destiny Church in Hollywood, California says and wrote in both the bibles of the lead singers for Stryper and Holy Soldier: "Every event holds the potential for purpose and destiny," Romans 8:28. We are all given our gifts not to exalt us but for God to work through us to help and bless other people. We covet your prayers!!!
